  • Elkhart County Health Department official says that the county's peak is expected around the first or second week of May. Expanded testing capacity (including free testing for the uninsured) has helped to track the spread. 

  • The Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce posted that Kruggel Lawton is hosting a webinar on Thursday, May 7 from 1 – 2 pm to help answer questions regarding PPP Loan Forgiveness. This webinar is free, and you can register by clicking here.

  • A new Elkhart County History Podcast! Listen to Elkhart County Historical Museum's Curator of Education Patrick McGuire discuss how the museum will preserve records of the COVID-19 pandemic for future generations and the relation of this crisis to the Palm Sunday Tornadoes of 1965.

  • On Thursday, May 16 from 9 am to 12 pm, United Way is hosting a "Food  & Fund Drive-thru" to benefit 13 food pantries in the county. Non-perishable food items will be collected at drop-off locations and donations by check or online are encouraged. Please help to share this great effort!
