Vaccines

Learn more about COVID-19 vaccines here and check out Indiana's COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard. The Elkhart County Health Department's Facebook page posts the most recent information about vaccine distribution in the county.

The Elkhart County Health Department is also looking for healthcare professionals AND non-healthcare volunteers to assist with upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

Update: COVID-19 vaccination registration for Hoosiers age 70 and older is now open on the state's website

Hoosiers age 70 and older in Elkhart County can register now through calling 2-1-1 or 574-523-2106 or visiting vaccine.coronavirus.in.gov. A caregiver or loved one may make an appointment on behalf of an eligible senior. Appointments for the second dose will be made at the clinic when the first dose is administered.

First responders (fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services, reservists and volunteers) who have in-person contact with the public and licensed and unlicensed healthcare workers who have in-person contact with patients or infectious material in any healthcare setting are also eligible to schedule a vaccination appointment. Eligible professionals should receive an invitation and registration link from their employer, professional association, or the State of Indiana (Indiana Department of Health, Professional Licensing Agency, Family & Social Services Administration, Department of Homeland Security, or another state agency).
